The Vienna House project includes unique and innovative approaches to design to enhance sustainability and resiliency, and consider future climate conditions. Bulletin #6 explores the unique building design and shape, which includes a central courtyard with trees and plants. It also looks at stormwater management, the use of green/blue courtyard roof, and salmon-safe water management certification.
Impact:
Vienna House is a mass timber and lightwood hybrid building that will explore innovative technologies, approaches, and designs to affordable and sustainable housing construction.
