Purpose:
The Vienna House project is the first non-market multi-family housing project in B.C. to use Building Information Management (BIM) in the design process. Bulletin #4 provides a closer look at BIM technologies, tools and processes used during the design of Vienna House. It also explores the benefit BIM adoption could have on future projects for BC Housing.
Impact:
Vienna House is a mass timber and lightwood hybrid building that will explore innovative technologies, approaches, and designs to affordable and sustainable housing construction. This bulletin series will highlight these approaches and processes to share knowledge and lessons learned through the design process.Theme:
