Purpose:

The second video in a series of 4: Flood Resilience for New and Existing Buildings. This video provides an overview of the different flood risks. It also provides owners and occupants of single-family buildings information to make their homes more flood resilient. The series offers solutions for a variety of development types at risk of flooding, including single-family residences, multi-family/strata, and new developments.

Impact:

This series is part of the BC Housing Mobilizing Building Adaptation and Resilience (MBAR) program addressing the interconnected social, economic, and environmental challenges facing our communities today. Through research and collaboration, MBAR helps the building industry develop homes and buildings that are adaptive and resilient.
